Simply put, we do two things at Quimbee: write summaries of cases typically taught in law school and make lecture videos that simplify legal concepts. QUIMBEE LECTURER PROGRAM

Overview
The Quimbee Lecturer Program (QLP) is designed for attorneys and professors who would like to lecture on a particular subject or topic. Lecturers are expected to prepare a lecture between three to four hours in length for elective courses and four to six hours in length for first-year courses. Substantively, your lecture would be akin to an end-of-semester review course in law school. Your lecture would be filmed and featured on Quimbee.com.

Responsibilities
A Quimbee Lecturer must submit a written lecture plan prior to filming for approval and must conform his or her lecture to the requirements of the Quimbee Lecturer Bible (our instruction manual on how to prepare your lecture). If you are a law professor, you may substitute a class syllabus for the lecture plan.

Qualifications

• JD from Tier 1 law school
• Minimum 3 years prior teaching experience
• Excellent public speaking skills, including the ability to be succinct and precise
• Self-motivation and passion for teaching

QUIMBEE FREELANCER PROGRAM

Overview
The Quimbee Freelancer Program (QFP) is designed for recent law school graduates, practicing attorneys, and academics who would like to write case summaries for the Quimbee Case Summaries series on a contractual basis. As a Quimbee Freelancer, you will be assigned a casebook in a particular field of law and asked to write a summary for each of the principal cases in the assigned casebook. The case summaries you author will be featured on Quimbee.com as well as in the Quimbee Case Summaries series of digital books.

Responsibilities
Freelancers will deliver summaries in accordance with the standards set forth in the Quimbee Freelancer Bible (our instruction manual on how to write case summaries) and the schedule of delivery and other requirements contained in the QFP contract.

Qualifications

• JD from Tier 1 law school
• Journal experience preferred
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to be succinct and precise
• Self-motivation and demonstrated proficiency in time management
