Andrew Haftkowycz's background

Andrew’s previous experience as a theater actor and English as a second language teacher has equipped him with the memorization skills needed to confidently prepare for the bar exam, and the bar prep course he took in law school provided him with valuable insight into the exam’s format and tested material. Although the normal pre-exam nerves are setting in, Andrew is planning on countering those feelings with regimented studying and trail running while listening to video lessons podcast-style. He’ll be taking time off work at his current law firm to study, so Andrew was searching for a bar review course that’s as affordable as it is effective.

Getting started

Picking the right bar prep provider

With affordability top of mind, Andrew knew that placing his trust in an unfamiliar bar-review provider wasn’t worth the risk. He decided that his best option was to continue using the same platform that he had used successfully for the past 3 years of law school. Andrew’s knowledge of Quimbee’s overall user experience and familiarity with the Quimbee-style video lessons led him to select Quimbee Bar Review+ for his preparation needs.

Getting started

Andrew chooses to split his studying between sitting and standing positions—allowing him to add variety to his routine and boost energy levels to stay mentally focused during study sessions. By writing his learnings on flashcards and taping them to his wall, Andrew can revisit material and study as he walks around his apartment.
