How Quimbee Bar Review helped: Unlimited opportunities to submit essays and receive feedback
Claire Johnson's background
Claire went into law school with the intention of being a public defender, and the only task she must tackle before she can seek out her dream job is the Colorado bar exam. The pressure of passing the bar exam on the first attempt lingers, but Claire feels well-prepared thanks to the bar prep class she took while attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She plans on improving her multiple-choice question performance and building upon her strong essay-writing skills while preparing for the bar exam. This summer, Claire will be working part-time as a law clerk, but she’s made sure to keep a fairly flexible schedule that allows ample time for studying.

Picking the right bar prep provider
Claire scheduled course walkthroughs with a handful of bar prep providers so that she could preview the options available to her. She had used Quimbee Study Aids in law school, so she felt most comfortable using the same platform to prepare for the bar exam. But it was the unlimited number of essay submissions with attorney feedback that ultimately convinced her to sign up.
Getting started
After graduating, Claire feels the reality of the approaching bar exam starting to sink in. Her vintage desk, furnished with a computer and a trusty whiteboard for tracking progress, serves as her command center for the impending challenge. Claire is excited to begin making use of the physical copies of the course materials—as she knows the coursebook, strategy guides, and outlines will play an important role in her bar exam preparation.
Finishing strong
Claire knows the bar exam date is approaching quickly, but she feels confident and on track due to the countless hours she’s spent studying with Quimbee Bar Review+. One of the most impactful features for Claire has been the graded essays. Studying a given subject, writing an essay, and then quickly receiving useful feedback on her submission from a real attorney has allowed Claire to continuously improve her writing throughout the course.
Entering the home stretch
To alleviate the stress and burnout Claire has been feeling from the time spent in front of her computer screen, she utilizes Quimbee Bar Review+’s print book package. By using hard copies of the course’s essential materials, she can escape to the park for some refreshing outdoor time. In the final days before the exam, Claire is balancing her routine between tackling multiple-choice practice questions on the app and reviewing quicklines so that she can make the most of her final study sessions.
Waiting to hear back
Claire’s thorough preparation ensured that nothing on the bar exam took her by surprise. Her extensive practice with essay and multiple-choice questions throughout the course gave her confidence as she tackled the Multistate Performance Test and Multistate Bar Examination. Claire chose Quimbee Bar Review+ for its affordability, and after feeling optimistic about her performance on the exam, she’s even more certain it was the right choice for her.
