Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution


Provides all persons born or naturalized in the United States are U.S. citizens. Also provides that no state shall: (1) abridge the privileges or immunities of a U.S. citizen; (2) deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; or (3) deny equal protection of the laws to anyone.”
