Jim T. Simmons has practiced law for more than 20 years, winning both of the cases he appealed to the Supreme Court of Michigan. His practice areas include corporate formations and transactions, commercial litigation, debt collections, domestic relations, criminal law, and appellate practice. He currently coaches the undergraduate mock-trial team at the University of Illinois, where he also teaches constitutional law for the department of political science.
