Kiran Nasir Gore focuses her practice on U.S. and transnational dispute resolution. She acts as counsel, advisory consultant, and arbitrator and has 15 years of experience advising governments, corporations, institutions, and individuals on public and private international law, international development, foreign investment strategies, international dispute resolution, and legal investigation and compliance efforts. Kiran has advocated for clients before U.S. courts, ad hoc arbitration panels, commercial and investment tribunals, and investigative authorities. In addition, she has provided clients with strategic advice concerning international investments, international treaty law, conflict of laws, and legislative reform.

Kiran is also an educator, with a focus on international law, constitutional law, civil procedure, written and oral advocacy, and international dispute resolution. She is a Professorial Lecturer in Law in the International and Comparative Law Program at The George Washington University Law School where she recently designed and launched a new seminar course called ‘The Global Economy and International Disputes.’ 

She is frequently invited to write and speak on topics involving international law, international development, and dispute resolution. Kiran is an Associate Editor of the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and Associate Editor of the ICSID Review – Foreign Investment Law Journal. She is the co-editor of two books that will soon be published by Kluwer Law International: The Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties in International Arbitration: History, Evolution, and Future and International Investment Law and Arbitration in Central Asia: Emerging Issues.
