Lauren Spahn, JD

Lauren M. Spahn is a Partner at Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton, LLP, in the Firm’s Nashville office. Ms. Spahn represents the legal and business interests of recording artists, songwriters, publishers, talent buyers, producers, managers, executives, record labels, technology companies, networks, and other entertainment industry clients. Lauren also handles complex transactional and litigation matters related to copyright, trademark and intellectual property law. Ms. Spahn holds a Masters in Music Business and Entertainment Industries and Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami. 

Ms. Spahn currently serves as Legal Counsel for the Women in Music Business Association. She is also currently a member of S.O.U.R.C.E. and the GRAMMY NEXT Class of 2020. Ms. Spahn was recognized as one of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 and NELA Emerging Leader Finalist. She is a member of the Leadership Music Class of 2019 and was recently featured in the MusicRow’s 2021 InCharge edition.
