Pamela Harper, JD

With over 25 years of corporate experience, Ms. Harper’s areas of expertise include risk management, compliance, operations, and governance within the financial, transportation, and professional services sectors.

Currently, she is a Member and Chair of the Corporate Transactions/Compliance as well as Regulatory Affairs practice groups at Griesing Law, LLC. Ms. Harper focuses on representing and providing strategic advice to clients in connection with compliance, regulatory, and corporate governance-related matters.

Prior to joining Griesing Law, LLC, Ms. Harper served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of an institutional asset management firm. In that role, she was responsible for the daily management of the firm’s operations, directing the firm’s regulatory compliance program and ensuring that appropriate enterprise-wide risk management controls were in place.

In addition, Ms. Harper has extensive consulting experience, having served as a Managing Director in the Washington office of PA Consulting, a U.K. firm, advising public and private sector clients, including Fortune 500 companies and multi-lateral agencies, on strategic, public policy, and foreign investment-related matters.

Ms. Harper’s experience extends to the public sector as well, having been appointed to serve as the Deputy Director of Aviation for the Philadelphia Airport System, where she oversaw government and regulatory affairs as well as marketing and air service development.

Ms. Harper is certified by the Compliance Certification Board and is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Professionals. In addition, she is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP), a compliance trade association for professionals in the financial services industry.

Ms. Harper received her MBA-JD from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She also received her A.B. (cum laude) from Princeton University.
