Paul Roe

Chief Technology Officer

Hoplite Communications, LLC

Paul Roe is the Chief Technology Officer, head paralegal, lead graphic designer, RF technician, GIS systems specialist and occasional programmer for Hoplite Communications. Paul’s 18 years of experience in these fields and deep integration of legal, geographic and technical knowledge contributes greatly to Hoplite’s versatility. With Hoplite since its inception, Paul continues to take Hoplite in new directions and pushes to new thresholds the boundaries we are able to pursue. Mapping and geography has been a personal interest of Paul’s since childhood and has given him an innate understanding of physical space and how it ties into more abstract concepts and constraints. This is particularly productive when dealing with complex real property issues such as easements and other land use restrictions, and determining with specificity how they impact a proposed development. Paul has also managed dozens of residential and commercial real estate transactions, and deals with any issue that comes up, no matter the complexity. This includes riparian issues, environmental contamination restrictions, complex assets transfer and testamentary estate matters that arise in regard to real estate. On a typical day with Hoplite, Paul may draft a commercial contract in the morning, develop a telecommunications siting map using ArcGIS in the afternoon, and wrap up the day by briefing municipal officials on the land use and zoning impacts of proposed state legislation. Like Mr. Lupo, Paul grew up in Brooklyn and is an alumnist of CUNY Brooklyn College. He currently resides in Lodi, New Jersey.
