Steven Sorenson, JD

Steven R. Sorenson is a shareholder in the law firm von Briesen & Roper s.c. Fox Valley office, where he serves as an ethics counsel and practices in municipal law, business organizations, and real estate law. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, in 1972 and his law degree from Marquette University in 1977. Sorenson is a former newspaper editor and radio station broadcaster. Sorenson is the former President of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the National Conference of Bar Presidents. Sorenson is an adjunct professor in the Business and Politics Departments at Ripon College and teaches courses in Real Estate Law, Water Law, and Legal Ethics throughout the United States. Sorenson has been a member of WISLAP since its inception and a frequent speaker on lifestyle balance issues and practice management.
