Definition

A provision of the United States Bankruptcy Code specifying that the transferee or obligee of a transfer or obligation taken for value or secured by a good-faith lien may keep the transfer or enforce the obligation to the extent of the value provided to the debtor, unless the transfer or obligation is voidable under certain sections of the Bankruptcy Code.
