Actual-Use Tariff Classification

Definition

A tariff classification under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States that is based on actual use of an imported good and applies only if the actual use is intended at the time of importation, the goods are actually used as intended, and proof is presented within three years after the goods are entered.
