Definition

Works fixed in tangible mediums of expression are eligible for copyright protections. A work is fixed if, with the consent of the author, the work is embodied in a tangible form that is permanent and stable enough to be perceived, communicated, or reproduced for more than a temporary period of time. Tangible mediums include physical mediums and digital mediums.
