The value of an investment fund’s assets minus its liabilities. A mutual fund’s net asset value per share, calculated by dividing the fund’s net asset value by the number of the fund’s shares outstanding, is the price at which an investor can purchase or redeem the fund’s shares, plus or minus any fees.
