Definition

Under the Uniform Trust Code, a beneficiary who has a present right to distributions under the trust as well as a member of the first group of remaindermen under the trust. This term is used by the Uniform Trust Code to limit and define the class of trust beneficiaries to whom the provisions of the Code apply by excluding remote remaindermen.
