Surrogacy Contract
Definition
An agreement of a woman to carry a child to term and surrender the child upon birth to another person or couple. Surrogacy contracts involving the exchange of money for a binding agreement by the surrogate to surrender her child upon birth are against public policy and void as a matter of law.
