Unfair Trade Practices
Definition
Fraudulent, deceptive, or unethical practices to gain business or cause injury to a consumer. Examples of unfair trade practices include false advertising, deceptive pricing, false offers of a free gift or prize, tied selling, and noncompliance with manufacturing standards.
