Uniform Commercial Code § 2-104
Definition
The provision of the Uniform Commercial Code that defines the term “merchant” as a person who deals in particular goods or by his occupation holds himself as having particular knowledge or skill relating to particular goods or to whom such knowledge or skill may be attributed by his employment of an intermediary who holds himself out as having such knowledge or skill.
