Uniform Commercial Code § 2-206

Definition

Provision of the Uniform Commercial Code governing how an offer for the sale of goods may be accepted. The section provides that an offer will be construed as inviting acceptance in any reasonable manner and by any reasonable medium unless otherwise indicated by the language of the offer, and an offer to buy goods for prompt or current shipment will be construed as inviting acceptance either by a prompt promise to ship or by a shipment of goods.
