Uniform Commercial Code § 2-725(1)

Definition

Provision of the Uniform Commercial Code setting forth the statute of limitations in sales contracts. The section requires that an action for breach of a contract for sale be commenced within four years after the cause of action has accrued. The parties may agree to reduce the period of limitation to not less than one year but may not extend it.
