Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) § 2-205

Definition

A provision of the Uniform Commercial Code that provides that a written, signed offer by a merchant to buy or sell goods that states it will be held open is not revocable, for lack of consideration, during the time stated or for a reasonable time, but in no event for more than three months.
