Facts
Valerie Saks (plaintiff) was a passenger on Air France (defendant) who experienced permanent deafness due to the pressurization system within one of Air France’s aircraft. Saks filed suit against Air France, alleging that Air France was liable for Saks’s injuries pursuant to multiple bodies of law, including the Warsaw Convention.
