Facts
Bacon (plaintiff) was employed by the Drover Livestock Commission (Drover) and as part of his employment engaged in dealing with St. Paul Union Stockyards Co. (St. Paul) (defendant). Bacon alleged that St. Paul wrongfully excluded him from its stockyards and in doing so prevented him from doing his job with Drover. Bacon brought suit for tortious interference with his contractual relations with Drover. St. Paul’s demurrer to the suit was sustained. Bacon appealed.
