Facts
Mr. Bell went on to the land of G.B. White and dug up a number of sweet potatoes and severed some cabbage heads from the ground. Bell then removed the sweet potatoes and cabbages from White’s property. Bell was convicted of petit larceny for stealing the vegetables. Bell appealed, arguing that the trial court erred in the definition of larceny that it presented to the jury.
