Facts
From 1913 to 1921, several British subjects suffered losses and sustained injuries from acts of insurgents conducting military-like operations within the Spanish zone of Morocco. The United Kingdom (plaintiff), by special agreement, submitted a claim to arbitration against Spain (defendant).
