Facts
Aric Woodard (defendant) was charged with murdering a child by beating him. Woodard claimed that the child drowned. The prosecution (plaintiff) filed a motion in limine, seeking to introduce pictures taken during the victim’s autopsy. The prosecution asserted that the pictures showed that the victim was beaten and did not drown. The trial court granted the motion. Woodard was convicted, and he appealed.
