Facts
Megabyte International, Inc. (Megabyte) (plaintiff) distributed computer-hardware products. DeGiorgio (defendant) worked for Megabyte as a salesman before leaving to join a competitor. Megabyte sued DeGiorgio for misappropriation of trade secrets, alleging that DeGiorgio had stolen lists of Megabyte’s customers and vendors and given them to his new employer. The lower court granted Megabyte’s request for an interlocutory injunction, and DeGiorgio appealed.
