Facts
Diomed, Inc. (plaintiff) held a patent for a product called EVLT, which was used to treat varicose veins. Diomed sued AngioDynamics, Inc. (defendant) for infringement of the patent. AngioDynamics contended that a video presentation by Dr. Brunello Puglisi constituted prior art that anticipated and invalidated Diomed’s patent. AngioDynamics moved for summary judgment.
