512 S.W.2d 46 (1974)
- Written by Deanna Curl, JD
Facts
Elious Tyler Jr. (defendant), a juvenile, was adjudged delinquent in an adjudication hearing for theft of personal property less than $50. At the dispositional hearing following the adjudication, the court allowed a probation officer to testify about the contents of an “Analysis of the Factors” report, which contained the opinions of a psychologist who did not appear or testify before the court. Following the dispositional hearing, the court committed Tyler to the care, custody, and control of the Texas Youth Council. Tyler subsequently appealed the dispositional order.
