Farr v. Zoning Board of Appeals of Town of Manchester
Supreme Court of Errors of Connecticut
95 A.2d 792 (1953)
- Written by Sean Carroll, JD
Facts
Farr, et al. (plaintiffs) brought suit to appeal a decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Manchester (Board) (defendant). At trial, as part of their case, the plaintiffs testified that they were Manchester taxpayers, landowners, and electors. The trial court found for plaintiffs. The Board appealed on the grounds that the best evidence rule was violated because the plaintiffs were not required to produce the title proving that they were Manchester landowners.
