Facts
Justine Gaydos was negligently killed by Frank Domabyl (defendant). She was a widow and was survived by seven children (plaintiffs), who sued Domabyl for damages. Of the seven children, one was confined to an asylum, one lived independently, and the other five had lived with Justine. Only two of the children living at home were minors. Domabyl challenged whether some or all of the children were entitled to recover damages.
