Facts
Griffin’s car overturned, and someone called the police. When the police arrived on the scene, there was a crowd of people there. Out of nowhere, Griffin and members of the crowd started yelling at and attacking the police officers, severely beating them. Griffin was charged and convicted of conspiracy to commit the beatings. Griffin appealed.
