Facts
Mr. Harris (defendant) shot the victim in the thigh, stomach, and shoulder. The victim died. Harris testified that he shot the victim in self-defense. Harris was convicted of voluntary manslaughter. He moved for a new trial. The trial court overruled the motion. Harris appealed, arguing that the trial court erred in failing to reduce the charge to involuntary manslaughter.
