Facts
One evening, W. de S. came to the house of I. de. S. He would have bought wine, but the tavern was closed. W. de S. struck on the door of the house with a hatchet. The wife of I. de S. put her head out the window of the house and ordered him to stop. W. de S. waved the hatchet toward her head but did not actually strike her.
