Facts
The juvenile trial court entered an order continuing the juvenile court wardship of the minor Eric J. (defendant). The juvenile trial court also committed Eric J. to the youth authority after finding Eric J. committed a burglary and violated the terms of his probation. The juvenile trial court ordered Eric J. to confinement for a maximum term of three-and-a-half years for the burglary and six months for the contempt of his probation. Eric J. appealed to the supreme court.
