399 N.W.2d 564 (1987)

Facts
Attorney Jerome Holmay (defendant) forged his client’s signature on various documents, including a petition for dissolution of marriage. Holmay subsequently notarized the documents, provided them to the court and served them on the opposing party. It is unclear whether the client was thereafter informed of Holmay’s actions and ratified the signature. The Director of the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board (plaintiff) filed a petition for disciplinary action against Holmay.
