Facts
A judge in Mexico sent letters rogatory to New York, asking the court for assistance in the service of process on a defendant located in New York for a lawsuit pending in Mexico. The lawsuit was for collection of rent and the recovery of property under a Mexican lease contract. The district court directed service of the summons on the defendant. The defendant moved to vacate the order.
