In the Matter of the Interests of A.L.J., A Minor
Wyoming Supreme Court
836 P.2d 307 (1992)
- Written by Deanna Curl, JD
Facts
A.L.J. (defendant), a juvenile, was adjudicated delinquent for recklessly endangering others at a party. A.L.J. had previously been involved in an alcohol-related incident, and alcohol was being consumed at the party where A.L.J.’s reckless conduct occurred. At disposition, the juvenile court imposed a three-year term of probation for A.L.J. Under the conditions of the probation, A.L.J.’s driving privileges were suspended, he was required to submit to random urinalysis to check for alcohol, and A.L.J.’s parents were to cooperate with the probation officer to carry out random searches of their residence. A.L.J. subsequently appealed the dispositional order.
