Intel Corp Inc. (plaintiff) manufactured computer processors and owned many trademarks that used the word “Intel.” CPM United Kingdom Ltd (CPM) (defendant) registered a trademark in the United Kingdom that used the word “Intelmark.” Intel filed suit seeking to have CPM’s trademark declared invalid.
