Facts
Four individuals (defendants) detonated an explosive in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 22 people and injuring over 200 people. The bombers faced trial at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and were charged with several crimes, including homicide and conspiracy to commit a terrorist act.
