Facts
Strong-Thorne Mortuary, Inc. (Strong-Thorne) (defendant) was retained to bury Kiro Jaynes. When Strong-Thorne prepared the grave for Kiro, Strong-Thorne disturbed the grave of Vondaine Jaynes. The surviving children of Vondaine, William Jaynes, Robert Jaynes, Linda Gray, and Carolyn Salter (plaintiffs) sued Strong-Thorne for negligent infliction of emotional distress and other claims. Strong-Thorne filed a motion for summary judgment, which was granted by the trial court. The plaintiffs appealed.
