Facts
Jack Jones (plaintiff) was totally and permanently disabled in an accident compensable under workers’-compensation laws while in the employ of Udah Crenshaw (defendant). The trial court computed Jones’s average weekly wage and credited the amount of Crenshaw’s payments for Jones’s temporary-total-disability benefits against the final award for permanent-total-disability benefits. Jones appealed.
