Facts
Defendants were convicted of distributing drugs but acquitted of conspiring to distribute drugs. The sentencing judge imposed significantly longer sentences as indicated by the sentencing guidelines, finding the defendants had engaged in conspiracy. The defendants appealed to the United States Supreme Court, which denied certiorari.
