Facts
Koenen and employees of Royal Buick Co. signed a purchase order memorializing Koenen’s purchase of a car. The purchase order included the type of car and Koenen’s desire for optional equipment. The purchase order also memorialized Koenen’s down payment. At trial, Royal Buick argued that the purchase order was not enough to form a contract, and that the contract was barred by the statute of frauds. The trial court ruled in favor of Koenen. Royal Buick appealed.
