Facts
A group of injured Treasure Chest Casino employees (employees) (plaintiffs) sought class-action certification in their case against the Treasure Chest Casino, LLC (Casino) (defendant), a floating casino, for their respiratory illnesses allegedly caused by the Casino’s air conditioning and ventilation system that was defective or improperly maintained. The district court certified the class under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23(b)(3).
