Facts
The Brazil Superior Justice Tribunal (defendant) reinstated the mayor of São Paulo after the mayor was forced out of office on corruption charges. Paulo de Oliveira (plaintiff) initiated a popular suit before the Brazil Supreme Court against the Brazil Superior Justice Tribunal, alleging that the Brazil Superior Justice Tribunal was acting as the mayor’s accomplice in corrupt dealings.
