Facts
William Marshall (defendant) was charged with and convicted of involuntary manslaughter after he knowingly gave the keys to his vehicle to an intoxicated individual who later drove the wrong way on a highway and collided head-on with another car, killing himself and the other driver. Marshall was home asleep at the time of the incident. Marshall appealed.
