Facts
Peter Pan Fabrics, Inc. (Peter Pan) (plaintiff) copyrighted a design printed on fabric for dresses. The printed design included depictions of architectural arches, tablets with an Arabic style of writing, and similar images. Brenda Fabrics, Inc. (Brenda) (defendant) made and sold fabric printed with an almost identical design. Peter Pan filed a motion for a preliminary injunction as part of a claim for copyright infringement.
