Facts
Before he married Jan Plog (plaintiff), Terrance Plog (defendant) signed a contract for the purchase of a parcel of land. Closing took place after the Plogs’ wedding. The Plogs used marital funds to complete the purchase, and the title documents named both Terrance and Jan as grantees. Jan subsequently filed for divorce. The trial court treated the parcel as marital property. Terrance appealed to the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
