Facts
Plaintiffs are three homosexual men who attempted to rent a piece of property from the defendant landlord. The landlord refused to rent to them on the basis that they may, due to their sexual orientation, at some point in the future, contract AIDS. Plaintiffs brought suit based on a state statute prohibiting discrimination against handicapped individuals.
